2 Corinthians 5:18 says, “Now all things
are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus
Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”
To reconcile is to connect. God connected us back to Himself through Jesus. He
then gave us all the ministry of reconciliation; a ministry to connect a lost
and hurting world back to Him. The Word of God also tells us in James 1:27 that
pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this; to visit orphans
and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”
The vision for the Community
Konnect ministry was birthed out of The
Feed Store Churches desire
to see people connected to God. It is our vision to reach beyond
the walls of the church to help people in need. Konnect creates
a unifying of the body of Christ, reaching out toward our communities
in a relevant way to reveal the love of God to others.
We feel it is important to minister
to the household of faith first, then to our communities and to
those in need.
The vision of Community Konnect is:
Konnect will be set up with trailers that will house all equipment
and tools necessary to quickly and effectively accomplish a task.
Konnect will be empowered with teams of people who have different
skills, abilities and time. They will meet together, get a plan
and go to work.
Konnect is a ministry of excellence
revealing God’s hands
and heart to southern Colorado.
The purpose of Community Konnect is:
To Konnect he
body of Christ together by working in union to help others. This
will build strong relationships within the church that otherwise
wouldn’t happen.
To Konnect lost and hurting people to a loving God
who they can learn to believe in and trust in for eternity
To Konnect our
communities to the local church by them seeing and experiencing God’s
love through the church and its effort to help others in need.
